Ek, Monday

Well the biscuits on Saturday were well received. To my mind they were good but I only made one batch. According to Alton's recipe they should have made 18 biscuits but since I (again) couldn't get them to stick together enough to be cut I had to "drop" them again and only got 15 out of the recipe. I want to poke around Food TV and his website to see if someone had this problem (too wet a dough) and how to fix it without messing up anything else in it. Melissa made sausage gravy which was wonderful and went well with the biscuits. We didn't have a big turnout but Lorie got to come again which was nice. Given that I didn't make enough biscuits I guess that's okay.
