Both sides
Of the fence seem to contain a sufficient number of idiots and morons.
Store's e-mail slams soldiers in Iraq
Here is a sergeant who is trying to get some gear for his troops in Iraq. Something the Army seems to have forgotten or neglected. On the one had he gets an email in response to his request telling him he should pull out of Iraq.
"SGT Hess,
We do not ship to APO addresses, and even if we did, we would NEVER ship to Iraq. If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq.
Bargain Suppliers
Discount-Mats.com"
Kind of a moronic thing to say. He's a soldier, they go where they're ordered to and do what their told.
But the public outcry in response to this email exchange is even more moronic than the original response.
"You terrorist loving jihad mother ((expletive)). This is America you son of a ((expletive)). You get the ((expletive)) out of this country."
(voicemail on the family's answering machine)
I suspect that it so totally escapes this redneck mouth-breathing mono-browed moron (apologies to rednecks since many of them are fine upstanding people, however the phrase was just too good to pass up) that is it exactly because this is America that people can come here with different opinions (if not very good ways of expressing it).
<sigh>
