What the Congress Can Do for America

I agree with Kim, it should more accurately, be entitled "What Congress Can Do For Me!" It's amazing the extent to which he deludes himself into believing that what he has proposed and passed legislation for in the past has actually worked.

"we met our goal of cutting the deficit in half three years ahead of schedule"

HA! What was cut in half was the predictions of what the deficit would be and that was because a) they left out the military spending for Iraq and Afghanistan and b) the prediction was wrong in the first place. "No Child Left Behind" is a colossal joke. And his own committee has concluded that America is less safe now, rather than more.

HA! I say again. HA HA!
